Notes
This single insect was found by Jenny Coverdale during a pond-dipping excercise. We were attending the BNA Annual Conference, and had opted for that particular activity of a number which were taking place. Having photographed it, I showed the picture to Professor Michael Majerus, a Cambridge ladybird expert, who told us what it was, and suggested that the record was worthy of reporting to the UK Ladybird Survey.
