Most of the bluebells on Wanstead Flats have proved to be Spanish Bluebells, Endymion hispanica but there is are some groups of bluebells, at the corner of Manor Park Flats near to the City of London Cemetery gates, which are mainly the native bluebell Endymion non-scripta. There are some Spanish Bluebells nearby, and some hybridisation may well have taken place.
