This was present in the newly-renovated Jubilee Pond in 2004, certainly introduced and probably accidentally together with other water-plants brought from further north in Epping Forest.

After the pond was re-lined following leakage, much of the vegetation and plant-species that had been establishing were lost, and this species was not noted during 2016.
